Who is Richard?

Richard Colosimo is a painter and sculptor, native to Cleveland, Ohio. He majored in art at West Tech and The Cleveland School of Art. Rick paints landscapes and still lifes in oil.  He also paints French and American Impressionist paintings by commission.

- Studied under Paul and Jean Ulen 

- Scholarship to Cleveland Institute of Art

- Served as illustrator to US Army (Korea)

- Joined BK Advertising as an illustrator

- Opened Studio 6 Art Studio in 1957

- Established Project Merchandising, as sales promotion agency (1962)

- Served as Creative Director and Illustrator for Project Merchandising

- Studied Still Lifes with David Laffel and Sherri McGraw in Taos, NM (1990)

- Teaches painting to students at his studio in Independence Ohio

- Continues to paint and enter many art shows in Ohio

- Established website to showcase his work (2009)
